Women of Redeemer/LWML

The Women of Redeemer are affiliated with the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Each year Redeemer recognizes LWML and its efforts by celebrating LWML Sunday. They also collect "Mites" throughout the year, which support the League's mission goals. Women of Redeemer collect food and money for the Hanna Center Food Pantry, and work at the pantry. Midwest Chinese Ministry is another mission supported by the Women of Redeemer. There are three subgroups that function under the Women of Redeemer:

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild takes responsibility for preparing the Altar, including the Paraments, Holy Communion, and Candles.

Flower Committee

The Flower Committee cooperates with the Altar Guild to ensure that the chancel area is adorned in a way that brings glory to God.

Quilters

The quilters meet on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 9:00-11:30 a.m. from September through May. The women work on quilts that are given to Lutheran World Relief, as well as other service organizations, shut-ins, babies, Habitat Homes and other special needs.

Music Ministry

From classic hymns to contemporary Christian music, Redeemer celebrates our great God with many types of music. In addition to the Psalters, Redeemer has many other opportunities for you to become involved in music, all to the glory of God. If you have an interest in participating in the musical programs at church, we encourage you to talk with Pastor, Don Isaacs, or Linda Hall.
