Community Activities

Easter Egg-stravaganza: Our fun-filled, Christ-filled celebration for the entire family typically takes place the Sunday prior to Easter. Activities include arts and crafts, snacks, coloring contests, a Christian-themed puppet show, and a huge Easter-Egg Hunt for children birth to age 10.

Vacation Bible School (VBS): Usually held in July of each year, this Christ-based learning opportunity is aimed at 3-10 year-olds. For one week, children spend two hours each day participating in crafts, music, puppet shows, and Christian education.

Trunk-or-Treat: We provide a family-friendly, Christian-themed, alternative to traditional Trick-or-Treating. Redeemer families decorate their cars and line the church parking lot, offering candy treats to the children of the community. The afternoon's schedule includes snacks, crafts, and door prizes. This event typically takes place the Sunday prior to Halloween.

Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Builds: Members of Redeemer work with Habitat for Humanity to help struggling families achieve their dream of home ownership. Come join us on a build!

Thrivent Financial For Lutherans: Thrivent Financial often provides monetary support for many of the outreach and community projects spearheaded by committees at Redeemer. These activities range from Trunk-or-Treat, VBS, and Easter Eggstravaganza to fundraising for our Mission Team's annual trips. These are excellent opportunities to serve.
